Customer card checkout for storefronts comes later — today storefronts take order requests and you arrange the rest. The platform fee applies only to storefront card checkout once it's enabled; it is never added to your monthly subscription.

Your POS stays the source of truth

Staffless reads your products, prices, and stock and shows them on your storefront. It never edits, deletes, or writes anything back to your POS.

OAuth, not passwords

You sign in through your POS's own secure login. Staffless never sees or stores your password.

Encrypted, server-side

Connection tokens are encrypted and kept server-side. They're never exposed to the browser or storefront.

Your storefront shows name, price, and stock. Never cost, margin, or supplier data.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Connect your POS, preview your storefront, and share the link. There's nothing to download and no code to write.

Which POS systems work?

Lightspeed and Vend today. Shopify support is in beta, with more connectors on the way.

Will Staffless change my inventory?

No. Your POS stays the source of truth. Staffless reads your products, prices, and stock and shows them on your storefront — it never overwrites, edits, or deletes anything in your POS. When you sync, your storefront updates to match your POS.

Is my storefront always stock-accurate?

Your storefront shows your most recent sync with your POS, so how current it is depends on your connector and how often you sync — it is not guaranteed to be real-time. That's exactly why we don't take card payments on the storefront yet: today storefronts collect Request Basket enquiries and you confirm each order against your POS before fulfilling, so a person checks stock before anything ships.

Can customers pay on the storefront?

Not yet. Today customers browse your stock and send an order request (Request Basket); you confirm availability against your POS and arrange payment. Storefront card checkout is a later feature and stays switched off for now. Before we turn it on, it needs quantity-aware stock checks, inventory reservation, and the ability to reserve or create the order in your POS so no one oversells. Until that's proven, Request Basket is the default and always works.

What does it cost?

Plans range from $0 (Free) to $499 (Unlimited) per month in USD, plus a Built-For-You tier for done-for-you setups — pricing is shown on the page above. Your Staffless subscription is managed from your account's Billing page. Customer card checkout for storefronts is a separate, later feature — today storefronts take order requests.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Connections use OAuth, tokens are encrypted server-side, and your public storefront only ever shows safe product fields — never cost, margin, or supplier data.
